"The community has really pulled together for these families and it's heart-warming to see. I couldn't have done it without their support and kindness.

"The hampers are filled with everything a family would need to make Christmas a day to remember – there are even a few gifts for the parents."
Clifton Morrisons' charity co-ordinator, Sue Whitehead, donated vouchers to the cause and placed a collection box at the front of the store for customers to donate food and loose change.
She said: "We have worked with Maria for the past three years and this is something we wanted to get involved in because it brings the community together and keeps them focused on the meaning of Christmas."
And Anthony Adams, who owns Dial-a-Bounce Party Supplies, in Sneinton, donated three large turkeys. Mr Adams, of Clifton, said: "A lot of people struggle at this time of year and it's not nice at all.
"It's great to be in a position where I am able to give something back to the community and what Maria does is absolutely brilliant – I'll always support her."
